Distorted/Extorted

Is this the American dream, homelessness, poverty, inequality what does this mean? We sow in deceit and reap the consequences of mislead liberties. So we believe in democracy because we truly can't be free. No existence of speech passionate words alarm righteous snakes.

Distorted visions; extorted machines. Propganda polluting the dream. Is this the American dream, homelessness, poverty, inequality what does this mean?

Dismiss us as imbeciles; voteless prey material. Unsustainable: the privilege to decree soverignty. No detachment morality and state the virtuous imperialist way. No privilege emancipated it's merely a luxury.

Distorted visions; extorted machines. Propganda polluting the dream. Is this the American dream, homelessness, poverty, inequality what does this mean?

We call to arms against our brother the immigrant who reminds us of our father. Beneath the concrete we surrender our mothers for the esteem of another. Renounce our sister when the tide swallows her.

Distorted visions; extorted machines.Propganda polluting the dream. Is this the American dream, homelessness, povert, inequality what does this mean?

Without Permanence

Without permanence we resemble men in shambles, standing upon a soap box, waiting on some godly encounter. Resuscitate your mind and realize this is blind faith. We’re leather-bound, reciting hymns like hollowed anthems to commemorate disaster. Remember the day you lost faith? Remember the day you cast doubt upon a hallowed existence. Was that the inception? Descending from benevolence to malevolence like the bearer of light. Have we incited an insurrection from faith? Is that permanence? No longer shall we be naïve but harvest wisdom from these deeds. No longer shall we believe in colorful lies but romanticize. We’re merely hardened cynics bearing milestones around our necks. Overwhelm in the shallow water of uncertainty. So can we exist between the lines of conviction while preserving our devotions? Have we made the assumption that we’ll have no more to relinquish? So remember the day you lost faith. Remember the day you cast doubt upon a hallowed existence. No longer shall we be naïve but harvest wisdom from these deeds. No longer shall we believe colorful lies but romanticize. Is this permanence?

Suggestio Falsi/Fallacious

Are we Godlike? Or merely alone and friendless without a country of our own to bear? Have we been cursed with fanciful minds like saints we all fucking lie? Has our belief in these words and rituals become mere fancy? So what if a priest cloaks us with holy water does that make us blessed? Even when the devil slithers around our neck like a snake? So are we Godlike? Even though we’ve lost our crowns adorn with pearls and lies? So do our crowns lay with the devil inside our minds? Or are we merely the wretched excuse of kings without crowns consumed with divine power? Oh has this become a divine affair? For we’re equipped with bibles, waiting on our date with the gallows to end. So will we drown our conscience with a drink and convince ourselves that we’re like saints? Oh how obsolete it feels when perfection dabs your lips? And we manifest into swine therefore we’ve become failure in the flesh. So does that make us Godlike?

Inglorious

Father, where have all the young men gone? Have they gone to fight in a war that no one cares for? Becoming soldiers they’re marching closer to the grave. Bleeding red, white and blue the colors of a supposed saint. America. These men lay in trenches equipped with guns; they’re praying to God will we make it home? Will I get to see my family once more? God what’s left for me upon this barren land and sea? America, have you turned your back on me? With panthers revolting in the streets. With barely any food to eat, no means to behold, with fiend arms. Will we make it passed twenty three? Suddenly regret runs through me. Is it the cowardice that haunts me? A disheartened look cloaks my face when bombs disperse upon the place. These fears come and confront me as we take cover in the sanctuary. Clasp my hands and render a prayer. Kneel at the pews. And let my judgment commence. I’ve killed mothers; I’ve killed fathers, and adolescents. Am I a wicked man? Or merely a misguided man? So will my judgment be cast down this day, shall I be redeemed? Father, what’s left for me? Will we make it to see March 1973? So recite that melancholy anthem and those southerly sung hymns, and toll that old brass bell. One last look at the western sea. Father, have you found absolution here in me?
